Like most communities, The City of St. Louis has been holding a celebration of Independence Day for many years and historically St. Louis has celebrated with fireworks on the 1st Saturday of July. In 2007 permission was granted to hold a one day Blues Festival in the street. The success of the first year spawned enough interest for a 2nd year festival.
In 2008 Center Stage Productions set the tone for a 2 day event and following that tradition will present this years festival on Friday, July 3rd & Saturday, July 4th, which is the first Saturday of July, being fireworks night, making for a great weekend of festivities.... SO, we present to you:
"The 2009 St. Louis Blues Festival" July 3-4 located on Mill Street, in front of The Gem Theater and River Rock Bar & Grill, downtown St. Louis, Michigan.

Entry fee: $10 per day, $15 weekend.
